A Bicycle Built For Two - Swing Bass/Oom Pah

The following is an attempt to play 'The Bicycle Built For Two' (also known as 'Daisy, Daisy') using the Swing Bass (also known as 'Oom pah') style.

Like Silent Night, this song is also on Waltz rhythm (3/4) and is a slow song. The slowness of the Waltz song is what makes them beautiful. The basic oom-pah pattern for 3/4 songs is 'oom-pah-pah' where 'oom' is where we strike the bass note (or notes in case of octaves) and 'pah' is where we strike the chord notes.

Silent Night With Blocked Chords

This is the first post. The attempt is to play the Silent Night on Piano using the Blocked Chords & Single Finger Melody.

I have tried to play the song as slow as possible as Silent Night should be as silent as possible. The notes of the song are really spaced out and should ideally be a calm and soft song.

Please refer the song page Silent Night for more information on the song. To know more about the Piano Techniques used, please refer the Techniques page.
