The Tennessee Waltz

The attempt is to play the Tennessee Waltz on Piano. This rendition uses various different techniques and accompaniment patterns.

The following are the techniques I have used for this rendition:

  1. Using an introduction which are in fact final phrases of the song
  2. Right Hand playing melody with single finger
  3. Right Hand playing melody in Octave hand position (along with different techniques like adding more fingers to notes in the position)
  4. Left Hand playing Arpeggio
  5. Left Hand playing Oom-pah-pah
  6. 10th Chord Arpeggio
  7. Ending the song with a grand arpeggio

Please refer the song page Tennessee Waltz for more information on the song. To know more about the Piano Techniques used, please refer the Techniques page.
