Amazing Grace - Piano - Oom Pah

Amazing Grace is a Christian Rhyme with a 3/4 rhythm. The attempt is to play it the on Piano using the Oom-pah.

In this attempt I have used only this pattern in the left hand through out and used single finger melody with the right hand. It is difficult to get this right and hence I used the following approach.

1. Get the melody in the right hand only. Sing while you play.
2. Add blocked chords to the left hand while playing from the lead sheet.
3. Played Oom-pah with only one chord - the key in which the song is written. This helps to get the co-ordination between the left and right hand.
4. Once the above step is done, use the correct chords in the oom-pah for left hand and get the melody right in the right hand.
5. Practice!
